The North Shore Hebrew Academy (NSHA) is a co-educational Preschool-Grade 12 Modern Orthodox Yeshiva that inspires students to become passionate learners, critical thinkers, problem solvers and dedicated community members.
At NSHA, we are a team of educators who are passionate about inspiring our 1100 students. Through expert instruction, collaboration and creativity we provide a premier General and Jewish education in a warm and nurturing environment, cultivating our students to be the best they can be academically and personally.
An ideal candidate will have experience teaching middle school students and have a deep interest in the subject they are teaching.
Our teachers are responsible for planning lessons, delivering differentiated instruction, assessing student learning, helping students develop social and emotional competencies, communicating with parents, and collaborating with their colleagues.
Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications :
MA in education
A minimum of three years of teaching experience, ideally in a middle school setting
A teaching philosophy that focuses on growth in academic, social and emotional domains
A collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
We especially encourage teachers with strong extracurricular experience to apply
